Solution

  1. Take 1 unit of the original mixture: \(0.5\) lemon juice, \(0.5\) sugar syrup.
  2. Add 3 units of sugar syrup: lemon \(= 0.5\), syrup \(= 0.5 + 3 = 3.5\).
  3. Ratio \(0.5 : 3.5 = 1 : 7\).
