TITA: type in the answer. There are no options and no negative marking.

Answer: 49 Ratio, Mixtures & Averages TITA

Solution

  1. First 7 days total \(= 7 \times 60 = 420\); first 8 days total \(= 8 \times 63 = 504\), so day 8 \(= 84\).
  2. Day 9 \(= 84 - 11 = 73\), so days 1 to 9 total \(= 504 + 73 = 577\).
  3. Days 2 to 9 total \(= 8 \times 66 = 528\).
  4. Day 1 \(= 577 - 528 = 49\).
